Description

Bright as Yellow is a four-track CD Maxi-Single by the American alternative pop band The Innocence Mission, released on A&M Records in 1995 (catalogue number 31458 8435 2). The title track as well as track 3 were taken from the band’s full-length album Glow released the same year, with Dennis Herring producing. All tracks written by Karen Peris with Don Peris co-writing tracks 2 and 4.

Note: In the US A&M released two different promo CDs in digipaks for this lead single from The Innocence Mission’s third album Glow; a one-track only CD and this Maxi-single which features the same tracklist as the commercially-released CD version, which was packaged in a jewel box. Tracks 2 and 4 are non-LP tracks. (A longer version of “Geranium Lake” was released in 2022 as a part of the compilation album Geranium Lake.)
