Description

The River Will Flow is a 7-inch vinyl single by the American rock band White Heart, released on Sparrow Records in 1989 (catalogue number SGL 1194-1). The track was lifted from the band’s full-length album Freedom released on Sparrow Records the same year. (Side B features the album version of the song while Side A features a slightly shorter, edited version.) The album was recorded by Jeff Balding at The Bennett House Recording Studios and The Castle Recording Studios in Franklin and at Digital Recorders and OmniSound Studios in Nashville, Tennessee; with Brown Bannister producing. Mixed by Balding. The song was written by band members Billy Smiley and Mark Gersmehl.

“The River Will Flow” features lead vocals by Mark Gersmehl with Dave Perkins on harmony vocals.
