Burn On – b/w “You’re So Important To Me” – is a two-sided promotional 7-inch vinyl single by the British singer Sheila Walsh, released in the US on Sparrow Records in 1982 (catalogue number SGL 1057).

Both tracks were taken from the US edition of Sheila Walsh’s full-length album Future Eyes, released on Sparrow Records in 1982. (“Burn On” was originally released as the B-side of Sheila Walsh’s very first single, released in the UK in 1980.)

Sheila Walsh seemed to burst on the British Christian Music scene. As a guest soloist at the Filey Crusade, she stunned the audience with her energy level and her use of special effects as well as her talent.

The initial 2,000 who heard her at Filey responded back with enough energy and youthful enthusiasm to indicate that Sheila’s heart, mind and music were all in the right place.

Her years of touring with the European Youth for Christ band, Oasis, and her years of commitment as a Bible college student and social worker have brought her music a maturity and determination that work.
