Description

“Salvation” – b/w “To the Park” – is a two-sided 7-inch vinyl single by the American progressive rock band Overland Stage, released on Epic Records in 1972, a division of Columbia Records (catalogue number 5-10924). Both tracks taken from the band’s self-titled full-length album released the same year on Epic Records, recorded during the winter of 1972 at CBS Studios in San Francisco, California; with Bob Destocki producing for Lee Productions. The track on the A-side was written Dave Hanson while the track on the flip-side was written by Rick Johnsgard, both were members of the band.

Sounding a bit like Santana, group effort is churning dance item with plenty of pop potential. Don’t be surprised if this one soon debuts on charts.
