The Rest is Up to You – b/w “Fat City” – is a two-sided 7-inch vinyl single by the American singer, songwriter, keyboardist, and producer Michael Omartian, released on ABC Dunhill Records in 1974 (catalogue number D-15030). Both tracks taken from Michael Omartian’s full-length album White Horse released the same year, recorded by Tommy Vicari, Michael Lietz, and John Guess at Sound Labs and Hollywood Sound in Hollywood, California; with Michael Omartian producing and arranging. Music written by Michael Omartian with lyrics written by his wife Stormie.

In 2015 the B-side, “Fat City”, was included on a sampler album entitled Too Slow to Disco, Volume 2, a mainstream compilation series of ’70s Westcoast Yachtpop.
