Resting in Your Love – b/w “Secret Service” – is a two-sided 7-inch vinyl single by the British singer and songwriter Iva Twydell of After The Fire fame, independently released on Banana Records in 1981, with secular distribution (catalogue number Banana 504). Both tracks were taken from Twydell’s full-length album Secret Service released on Banana Records the same year, in conjunction with Redsky Music, distributed by Kingsway Music. The album was recorded and mixed during February and March 1981 at Profile Studios in Wheathampstead, England (the studio of Banana Records owner Steve Kendall), with Iva Twydell producing. Arranged by Mr. T and band. Both songs written by Iva Twydell.

Lead vocals provided by Iva Twydell who also plays guitar and keyboards, backed by Andy Balmer of Solid Air on guitar, Graham Noon of Skyrider on keyboards, and a rhythm section consisting of Tony Hudson and Nick Brotherwood on bass and drums respectively, both formerly of the Mighty Flyers and Alwyn Wall Band.

“Resting in Your Love” was later covered by the Australian band The Fish John West Reject on their album Canned independently released on cassette-only in 1986.
