Description

Get Ready – b/w “How Do I Get You?” – is a two-sided 33⅓ RPM 12-inch vinyl single by the American pop quartet The Imperials, released on Myrrh Records in 1987, a division of Word (catalogue number 901644257X-DJ). Both tracks were taken from the band’s full-length album This Year’s Model released on Myrrh Records the same year (manufactured and distributed by both Word and A&M Records), recorded by Steve MacMillan at Ocean Way Recording in Los Angeles, California; with Brown Bannister producing. Mixed by Nicholas Froome at Blue Jay Recording Studio in Boston, Massachusetts. The titled track was written by band member Jimmie Lee, with the track on the flip-side written by Mark Gendel and Bob Johnson.
