Seventy Times Seven [7-inch single]

Description

Seventy Times Seven – b/w “Tumblin’ Down” – is a two-sided 7-inch vinyl single by the American singer and songwriter David Meece, released in Australia (and New Zealand) on Horizon/A&M Records in May 1986 (catalogue number K31 Limited Edition). Licensed through A&M Records Inc., U.S.A., and manufactured and distributed under license by Festival Records Pty. Ltd. Australia and Festival Records (N.Z.) Ltd. The single was released at the same time as his national Australian tour and the title track peaked at No. 25 on the national Australian single chart.

The A-side was a brand new track produced by Joe and Gino Vannelli to be featured on the forthcoming David Meece compilation Chronology released on Myrrh Records later the same year. The B-side, “Tumblin’ Down”, was lifted from Meece’s full-length album 7 released on Myrrh Records the previous year, with Brown Bannister producing. The A-side was co-written by David Meece, Gino Vannelli, Joe Vannelli, and Roy Freeland while the flip-side was written by Meece.
