Sin Assassinator

Description

Sin Assassinator is a cassette-only mini-album by the American hip-hop artist Thee Evangelist M.C., self-released on C-Boy Productions in 1992. Pontiac, Michigan, USA.

From what I can find online about Thee Evangelist MC, he started off working with D-Boy and Mc GeGee before moving out on his own. He also has a song on the Microphone Theology compilation called «Black Plague» that is not on the tape. But I can’t find much more than that on him. His sound is more hardcore rap than that of D-Boy and Mc GeeGee. Samples abound – «On the Rampage» manages to successfully sample Led Zeppelin’s «Immigrant Song» and Rush’s «Tom Sawyer». It’s a good start – but where did he go after this? [Christian Tape Underground, January 23, 2022]
