Description

Hungry, sub-titled Falling On My Knees, is a multi-artist compilation by artists connected to Vineyard UK, released on Vineyard Music in 1999, distribution by Chordant Distribution Group in the US. The album was recorded live in London, England; with Brian Doerksen and Nigel Hemming producing. This album is considered among the key albums that changed the face of modern praise and worship music worldwide. It was preceded by a live compilation released the previous year, entitled Come Now Is The Time.

‘Hungry’ is the second release from the UK Vineyard Music Group’s Sovereign label and features over a dozen worship songs from the Vineyard Churches in the UK and Ireland. This is an intimate worship album with a style and flavour that everyone can embrace, from young to old. Recorded live in London and with worship leaders Brenton Brown, Brian Doerkson, Michael Frye, Wendy O’ Connell and Kathryn Scott, ‘Hungry’ encompasses a number of musical styles ranging from Celtic, R&B, Afro-Caribbean through to some beautiful love songs such as «Humble King»; «Child Of God»; and «You Are A Holy God». ‘Hungry’ will take you straight into the presence of God.
