Vekora

Description

The self-titled debut album by the American indie rock band Vekora was independently released on Fools Of The World in October 2014. The album was recorded Summer through Winter of 2013 by Derri Daugherty of The Choir – assisted by band member Jesse Sprinkle – at Bluebrick Recordings (a digital studio near Rochester, New York), with Terry Scott Taylor of Daniel Amos fame producing. Mixed by James Wright, Brian Moore, and Jesse Sprinkle. String and piano arrangements by Doug Riter.

Vekora features Alexandra Wendt on vocals, Kurt Schmidt on guitar, and a rhythm section consisting of Brian Moore on bass and Jesse Sprinkle of Poor Old Lu fame on drums.
