The Young and Reckless: The Regression of Veil of Ashes is a compilation album by the American alternative rock band Veil of Ashes, released on Blonde Vinyl Records in 1992. The various tracks featured on the album were recorded by Chuck Harris at Mastertrack and Bighouse with Nelson Di Marco, John Dlugosh, Shona Davidson, and the band producing.

Some of the songs had appeared on an earlier demo. Contains one post-Pain song, as well as everything off of Prayers For The World and Nëgro that had not been re-recorded on Pain. Featuring Sean Doty on vocals and guitars, Sterling (a.k.a. Brian Kirsch) on bass, and Phil Meads on drums and percussion. (The album put together tracks on the band’s two independently released pre-Pain EPs releases plus an unreleased post-Pain demo.)
