Gotee Records: Ten Years Brand New is a multi-artist compilation released on Gotee Records in 2002.

‘Ten Years Brand New’ is a bit of a misnomer. As much as I admire the music from this cutting edge US CCM record company, the 21 tracks on this compilation are anything but brand new and this album will only appeal to collectors who’ve somehow missed all those great Gotee albums. Varying music styles in tracks selected from the first decade of recordings from Gotee Records make this an interesting collection but for what purpose other than the indulgence of the record company. Indeed, some of the artists are no more in the recording sense. But if you want one album featuring individual tracks by Out Of Eden, Grits, Christafari, Johnny Q Public, The Gotee Brothers, Curious Fools, Zilch, Jennifer Knapp, Temple Yard, The Katinas, Verbs, Sonicflood, Relient K, John Reuben, DJ Maj, Jeff Deyo, Sandtown, Mars Ill, Paul Wright, LA Symphony and Sarah Kelly, then Go – tee get it!
