Description
Tomorrow is the third album by the American contemporary gospel/R&B quartet The Winans (brothers Marvin, Carvin, Ronald and Michael), released on Light Records in 1984. The album was recorded at Sound City Studios in Van Nuys and Monterey Sound Studios in Glendale, California; with Bill Maxwell and Scott V. Smith producing, co-produced by Marvin Winans. Mixed by Win Kutz and Maxwell at Monterey Sound Studios. All songs written by Marvin Winans except track A2 co-written by Carvin and Deborah Winans and track A4 co-written by Fred Manns, Marvin and Ronald Winans.
The Winans is backed by a session band featuring Tom Keene on keyboards, Michael Ruff on synthesizer (with synthesizer programming by Ruff and Rhett Lawrence), as well as the members of Koinonia: Harlan Rogers on keyboards and synthesizer, Dean Parks on guitar, Hadley Hockensmith on guitar and bass, Abraham Laboriel on bass, Bill Maxwell on drums and percussion, and Alex Acuña on percussion. Also featuring David Boruff and Justo Almario on saxophone, Charles Davis and Scott V. Smith on trumpet, and Andy Martin on trombone. Backing vocals provided by Alfie Silas, Howard Smith, Kristle Murden Edwards, Perry Morgan, and Tata Vega.
