Abba, sub-titled 18 Songs to the Father, is a praise & worship album by the American vocal combo The Maranatha! Singers (the in-house choir of praise & worship label Maranatha! Music – a revolving ensemble known as The Maranatha! Singers), released on Maranatha! Music in 1988, distributed by The Benson Company. Released as a part of Maranatha’s The Words Of Worship Series. (The series gives direction to worship. Each release in the series focuses on one particular word of our worship vocabulary, and offers the listener a deeper understanding of the worship process.) The album was recorded by Chris Taylor and Rob Klein at 41B Studios and by Steve Hallmark at Hallmark Productions in Westlake Village, and by Steve Smith at Take One Studios in Burbank, California; with Dan Willard producing. Mixed by Jim Scheffler and Dan Willard at Take One Studios in Burbank, California. Track arrangements by Bill Batstone and Tom Howard. Orchestrations by Howard and Tom Keene.

Featuring the vocals of Jamie Owens-Collins, Kelly Willard, Bobbi White, Dan Collins, Walt Harrah, John Barbour, Teri DeSario, and Buddy Owens, with lead vocals provided by Dan Collins, Jamie Owens-Collins, Bob Bennett, Kelly Willard, and Teri DeSario.

The studio band features Smitty Price on keyboards (with John Andrew Schreiner sitting in on track B3), Hadley Hockensmith on guitar (with Jay Leach sitting in on track B3), Dave Coy on bass, Ron Tutt on drums (with Dave Spurr sitting in on track B3), and Alex Acuna on percussion.
