HEED THE CALL – THE IMPERIALS – DaySpring DST 4011 (Word)
Tight vocal performances by the quartet are the staple of this LP. MOR/contemporary styling should appeal to various age levels. The title cut, «Overcomer» and an excellent version of «Old Man’s Rubble» are standouts. [Record World, May 12, 1979 (Gospel Section, Album Picks)]
