Description
Live and on The Wing in Music City is a CD+DVD live album by the American alternative rock band The Choir, independently released on the band’s own label Galaxy 21 Music in June 2016. The CD+DVD album was released as part of the Imagine One Perfect Circle / The Choir Circle Slide / Vinyl 2016 Kickstarter campaign. (Originally released as a CD only by Galaxy 21 Music in November 2014.)
It is a retrospective of some of the band’s best career-spanning songs, recorded during two sold-out shows in Nashville, Tennessee; July 26, 2014. Recorded by Russ Long on location at SIR in Nashville, assisted by Garrett Callahan and Oliver Long. Mixed by Long at The Carport. Live house mix by Ryan Rettler. Featuring Derri Daugherty on vocals and guitar, Marc Byrd on guitar, Dan Michaels on sax and lyricon, Tim Chandler on bass, Steve Hindalong on drums and vocals, and Christine Byrd on vocals and percussion.
