Description
Comfort the People is the second gospel-oriented album by the American singer and songwriter Terri Gibbs, released on The New Canaan Records in October 1988, a division of Word. Also manufactured and distributed by A&M Records. The album was recorded by Bill Deaton, Brent King, and Lynn Fuston at OmniSound Studios, Center Stage Studio, and Reflections Studio in Nashville, Tennessee; with Gary McSpadden and Bergen White producing. Mixed at Center Stage. Arranged by Bergen White.
Terri Gibbs is backed by a session band featuring David Huntsinger on keyboards (with Fairlight programming provided by Carl Marsh); Don Potter on acoustic guitar; Brent Rowan on acoustic and electric guitars; Mike Brignardello on bass; Eddie Bayers on drums; and Farrell Morris on percussion. Background vocals provided by Bergen White, Wendy Suits Johnson, and Lisa Silver except track B2 featuring BeBe Winans, CeCe Winans, Angie & Debbie Winans, and Michael English. Strings by The “A” Strings.
