Description
Comfort the People is the second gospel-oriented album by the American singer and songwriter Terri Gibbs, released on The New Canaan Records in October 1988, a division of Word. Also manufactured and distributed by A&M Records. The album was recorded by Bill Deaton, Brent King, and Lynn Fuston at OmniSound Studios, Center Stage Studio, and Reflections Studio in Nashville, Tennessee; with Gary McSpadden and Bergen White producing. Mixed at Center Stage. Arranged by Bergen White.
Terri Gibbs is backed by a session band featuring David Huntsinger on keyboards (with Fairlight programming provided by Carl Marsh), Don Potter on acoustic guitar, Brent Rowan on acoustic and electric guitars, Mike Brignardello on bass, Eddie Bayers on drums, and Farrell Morris on percussion. Background vocals provided by Bergen White, Wendy Suits Johnson, and Lisa Silver except track B2 featuring BeBe Winans, CeCe Winans, Angie & Debbie Winans, and Michael English. Strings by The “A” Strings.
