Description
The self-titled debut album by the American pop trio Silverwind (Betsy Hernandez, Patty Gramling, and Georgian Banov) was released on Sparrow Records in 1981. The album was recorded by Bob Cotton and Patrick von Wiegandt at Sound Labs in Hollywood, California; with Billy Ray Hearn, John Rosasco, and Tony Salerno producing. Mixed by Bruce Swedien at Kendun Recorders in Burbank, California. Arranged by Larry Muhoberac and Rosasco. According to the December 1981 issue of CCM Magazine, Silverwind was among the 15 top selling CCM albums released in 1981.
The original Silverwind, an Agape Force ministry, was comprised of Georgian Banov, Betsy Hernandez and Angela Watley.

Polished productions enhance Silverwind’s clear harmonies. A light, up-beat tempò on most songs makes them excellent choices for airplay. “I Don’t Worry,” “I Am In Love,” “Never Had a Reason,” and “I Will Bless the Lord” are standouts.
