The Plan

Description

The Plan is the third full-length album by the American dance/pop group Raze, released in the US on ForeFront Records in 2000, distributed by Chordant Distribution Group. As well marketed and distributed in Europe by Alliance Music. The album was produced by Michael-Anthony Taylor (tracks 1-9 and 11-12), Tedd T. (tracks 10 and 13), and Peter Kipley (tracks 14).

Now firmly established as America’s premier pop dance team, clear, the year the Tulsa-based team spent with the The World Wide Message Tribe has paid off for them, giving them both a stylistic focus and, more importantly, a passion to take the Gospel to teenagers. With a new member in tow and a splendiferous selection of strong, radio friendly hooks, techno-tinged beats and lots of edgy R&B-styled harmonies, ‘The Plan’ has the potential to be the band’s big breakthrough album. On the infectious “Forgive Me”, the guys are joined by dc Talk‘s Toby McKeehan and Kevin Max, where elsewhere there are infectious rhythms crying out for club remixes (Zarc Porter already has that well in hand).
