Description

Plugged In is a vocal album by the American singer, songwriter, and trumpeter Phil Driscoll, independently released by Phil Driscoll Music Group in 1999. The album was recorded by Chris Rich at Conway Recording Studios, Rumbo Recorders, The Sound Factory, and Hook Studios in Los Angeles, California; with Bill Maxwell of Koinonia fame producing. Mixed by Bill Schnee and Chris Rich (tracks: 3, 6, 8, 10) at Bill Schnee Studios in North Hollywood, California.

Phil Driscoll is backed by a session band consisting of Billy Preston and Bill Mason on both piano and organ, Greg Mathieson on synthesizer, Dean Parks on guitar and mandolin (with Michael Thompson and David Williams sitting in on guitar on a few tracks), Abraham Laboriel on bass, Bill Maxwell on drums, and Alex Acuña on percussion. Backing vocals provided by Howard McCrary, Linda McCrary, Lisa Banks, Rose Stone, and Phil Driscoll.
