This Changes Everything is a live album by the British singer, songwriter, and worship leader Lou Fellingham of Phatfish fame, released in the UK on Integrity Music in 2017.
Released on the final day of Spring Harvest 2017, following a powerful and Holy Spirit enhanced performance on the penultimate night, this live album is a triumph. It delivers in all departments! The opening title track’s execution justifies the decision to go live after four solo studio albums. «Everlasting Arms», the well-known hymn, is transformed in the live setting and given a new set of clothes by the backing group as Lou sings, “Your mercy flows like a river.” The crystal clarity of her voice and the sensitive keyboard playing add to the impact of the lyrics. Harmonies are used effectively on a number of tracks such as familiar favourite «Lord I Need You» with Lou’s solo verse mid-track drawing attention to the central message. The one song other than the title track that illustrates Lou’s ease and seeming effortlessness as a performer is «Turn My Life Around» which expresses the freedom that we have in Christ as she sings, “I’m free-falling flying high” and as the band provide the perfect tempo and mood she continues with, “And I-I-I-I-I am letting go!” Lou has indeed risen to new heights with this beautiful set.
