Feel the Spirit

Description

Feel the Spirit is the sophomore full-length album by the British gospel choir London Community Gospel Choir, released on the Swedish gospel label Cantio Records in 1986. (“This album is a co-production between VIVA Music and CANTIO Records.”) Also released in the UK by Myrrh Records, a division of Word. The album was recorded (using the Intervideo Mobile Studio) by Alar Suurna live in Karlstad, Örebro, and Jönköping, Sweden; with Lars Brandström of Choralerna and Salt fame producing. Mixed by Bernard Löhr at Soundtrade Studios in Stockholm, Sweden. Choir conducted by Lawrence Johnson.

Lead vocals provided by Lawrence Johnson, Pearl Sinclair, Patricia Knight, Revd. Bazil Meade, Judith Bennett, David Daniels, and Maxine Francis. The choir is backed by Wayne Wilson and Howard “Howie” Francis on keyboards, “Mr T” Williams (a.k.a. Paul “Tubbs” Williams) on bass, Niki Brown on drums, and “Karlos” Alexander Edwards on percussion.
