Description
Archive is a compilation album by the American singer and songwriter Larry Norman, independently released in March 2018. This compilation was created as a gift to those who pre-ordered Greg Thornbury’s biography on Larry, ‘Why Should The Devil Have All The Good Music? – Larry Norman and the Perils of Christian Rock‘ from Solid Rock.
This CD is a companion piece to the 2018 book Why Should the Devil Have All the Good Music?: Larry Norman and the Perils of Christian Rock by Gregory Thornbury. This is not an overview of Norman’s career, or a “greatest hits” compilation. It is a look at his lesser known creative output and contains mostly unheard and previously unknown recordings straight from the Solid Rock vaults, covering the span of years outside of his more visible career, from the songs of his youth to the final recording he ever made. – Charles Norman
