Description
The Magic Brain of Unreason is an album by the American alternative rock trio Hezze, released on Fingerprint Records in 1995. The album was engineered by band members Dan Hallas and Stephen Flynn, assisted by Sean McLaughlin and Gary Alex, and was produced by Hallas and the band with Dan Russell co-producing. Mixed by Dan Hallas and the band at Double Edge Studio.
Featuring a cover of “Another Good Lie”, a song written by the late singer-songwriter Mark Heard and originally recorded on his 1991-album, Second Hand. The track was also included on the Mark Heard tribute compilation Orphans of God released on Fingerprint Records in 1996.
Hezze features Dan Hallas on vocals, piano, guitars, and trombone; Stephen Flynn on bass, piano, accordion, and vocals; and Jim Weston on drums. Described by their label as mello-punk, relentless groove-soul-pop-rock 3 piece trio.
