Description
Tried by Fire is the sole album by the American singer and songwriter George Nasif, released on MRC Records in 1983, a sub-label of Maranatha! Music. The album was recorded at Western Audio Recording Studios in San Diego, California; with Gerry Limpic of Limpic & Rayburn fame producing. All songs written by George Nasif except “Elevator Operator” and “What’s The Matter” written by Rob Mehl. Cover illustration by Kernie Erickson. Featuring Tom Howard on keyboards and backing vocals by Michele Pillar.
The album track “Don’t Let The Devil” was later included on the sampler album AOR Global Sounds, Volume 3 released on Favorite Recordings in 2017, a mainstream compilation series of AOR, West Coast, and Blue-eyed Soul.
