Description

Praise to Victory is an album by the American singer and songwriter Cedric Joseph, released on StarSong Records in 1983, distributed by Word. The album was recorded and mixed by Brian Tankersley, Win Kutz, and Bob Singleton at Rivendell Sound Recorders in Pasadena, Texas; at Mama Jo’s Recording Studio in North Hollywood, California; and at Omega Audio, with Fletch Wiley of Koinonia and Sonlight fame producing and arranging (both strings and horns). (Sonlight was the early ’70s backup band of Andrae Crouch, which morphed into Koinonia in the beginning of the ’80s.) Mixed at Rivendell Recorders. All songs written by Cedric Joseph except track A3 written by Larry Byrom and Randy McCormick, track A5 written by Ira Watson and Mike Deasy, and track B4 written by Bruce Hibbard.

Cedric Joseph is backed by a session band consisting of Larry Muhoberac on keyboards, as well as various members of Koinonia – Hadley Hockensmith on guitar, Abraham Laboriel on bass, Bill Maxwell on drums, and Alex Acuña on percussion.
