Description
Hero is a studio album by the American country/soft-rock band Brush Arbor, released on Myrrh Records in 1981, a division of Word. The album was recorded by Carmine Rubino assisted by Jim Crosby and was produced by Michael Lloyd. Arranged by John D’Andrea and the band. All songs written by band member Jim Rice except “All I Want To Be” written by Wayne Rice, “Only For The Love Of The Lord” written by Keith Thomas, “Come Back Home” and “Hey There Stranger” written by Tim Sheppard, and “St. Peter” co-written by Bob Segerini and Randy Bishop.
Brush Arbor is brothers Joe Rice (lead vocals, mandolin and guitar) and Jim (lead vocals, guitar and 5-string banjo), Dale Cooper (lead guitar and vocals), Dave Rose (acoustic and electric bass, vocals), Kevin Watkins (drums, percussion and vocals). Special thanks to guest musicians: Ron Krasinski, Dennis Belfield, Billy Walker, John Hobbs, Alan Estes, and Michael Lloyd.
