Description
Knife Edge is the fifth album by the American singer, songwriter, and guitarist Brooks Williams, independently released on Green Linnet Records in 1995. The album was produced by Colin Linden.
Featuring Brooks Williams on guitar and vocals, backed by a rhythms section consisting of John Dymond and Gary Craig on bass and drums respectively, as well as Richard Bell on organ and piano and Bruce Cockburn‘s sideman Hugh Marsh on violin. (Actually, all these musicians have recorded with Cockburn.) Interspersed throughout the album are four instrumentals where Brooks Williams displays his remarkable skills as a solo guitarist playing acoustic, bottleneck slide, and National resolectric guitar.
