While the Door is Open is the sophomore solo album by the American singer, songwriter, and session bassist Bill Batstone of Good News fame, released on Calvary Chapel Music in 1997 (the music ministry of Calvary Chapel), manufactured and distributed by Pamplin Music Distribution. “Produced, arranged and recorded mostly by Bill Batstone.” All songs written or co-written by Batstone.
A note to the listener: Congratulations! You have purchased a high quality home music recording. However, careful listening may reveal the additional sounds of pets, children, lawnmowers and low-flying aircraft. The instrument on the front cover, a ’67 Guild Starfire Bass, was not used in the recording process and is included solely because of it’s sentimental value to the recording artist.
