Bold is the sophomore album by the American contemporary R&B duo Angie & Debbie Winans, released on Against The Flow Records in 1997, marketed and distributed by Diamante Music Group. The album was produced and recorded by Cedric and Victor Caldwell for Caldwell Plus Productions at Father’s Image Studio in Brentwood and Quad Studios in Nashville, Tennessee. Mixed by the Caldwell brothers at Father’s Image Studio. Tracks arranged by Cedric and Victor Caldwell with background vocals arranged by Angie & Debbie Winans. Strings arranged and conducted by Ronn Huff.

‘Bold’ is a word that Michael W Smith encourages us to be and Angie and Debbie certainly make a bold step forward on how we need to deal with the Devil, promiscuous lifestyle and making a stand for what we believe to be right. I played «I Believe» and «Sound Like Love» on a secular BBC Radio programme and the presenter demanded a copy immediately. It was difficult to pick out a so-called favourite track because each one oozes with excellence. With Mike E Cedric Caudwell, Sketer Winans, Paul Jackson Jr involved in its production it’s the least you can expect.
