Evergreen is the six full-length album by the American singer and songwriter Andrew Ripp, independently released on Andrew Ripp Music in May 2021.
Evergreen was inspired by a photo that Andrew Ripp’s sister-in-law Ashley posted from New York a few days after quarantine began. Posting a picture of the snow-covered pines at her cabin in the Catskills, over the photo was written, “I wonder if I’ll ever go back to Brooklyn.” To Ripp, her statement unraveled a new inspiration that turned into a new album. Through its songs, you can hear the emotional rollercoaster of uncertainty, making Evergreen an album full of honesty and relentless hope in these wildly uncertain times.
