Description
The Gift of Christmas is the eighth solo album and sole Christmas effort by the American contemporary gospel singer and songwriter Andraé Crouch, released on Qwest Records in October 1999, distributed by Warner Bros. Records. The album was recorded at Capitol Studios in Hollywood, at O’Henry Sound Studios in Burbank, and at SVS Productions in Pasadena, California; with Scott V. Smith and Andraé Crouch producing. Mixed by Bill Schnee.
Featuring guest vocals by Yolanda Adams (“Oh Come, All Ye Faithful”), Tata Vega (“Mary’s Boy Child”), Chaka Khan (“This Christmas (I’ll Be Thinking Of You)”), Kristle Murden (“Angels We Have Heard On High”), and Linda McCrary (“Away In A Manger”).
