Description
Lamplighter is the sophomore album by the British singer and songwriter Alan Shiers, released on Grapevine in 1980. The album was recorded between April and December 1979 by Colin Owen at The Old Smithy Recording Studio in Worcestershire, England; with John Pac of Parchment fame and Suzy Mack producing. String and brass arrangements by Owen. All songs written by Allan Shiers except “Save Me (I’m Falling)” featuring lyrics co-written with John Hunter and “Not for Sale” featuring lyrics by Dave Kitchen.
