Description
You Turn Me Around is the third album by the American soft rock band The Sharretts (brothers Fred, Ed and Bob Sharrett), released on DaySpring Records in 1978, a division of Word. The album was recorded by Richard Donaldson at the Soundcastle in Hollywood, California; with Bill Reichenbach producing, a member of The Seawind Horns. Arranged by Larry Williams of Seawind fame, Steve Madaio, and Reichenbach. Featuring a cover of “All Through The Day”, a song written by Tom Howard and originally recorded on his 1977 debut album, View from the Bridge.
The Sharretts are backed by a session band featuring various members of Seawind (Larry Williams on keyboards, synthesizer, and percussion, Bud Nuanez on rhythm guitar, Ken Wild on bass, and Bob Wilson on drums, with producer Bill Reichenbach providing percussion and trombone), as well as Toto-member Steve Lukather on lead guitar and Al Perkins on both acoustic guitar and steel guitar. All vocals by the Sharrett brothers.
