I’ve Never Been to Heaven is an album by the American singer and songwriter Sammy Hall, released on Neoteric Musical Reproductions in 1978, a division of GSP (Gary S. Paxton) Industries. The album was recorded by Warren Peterson, Mike Poston, Brent King, Travis Turk, and Chris Banninger at Sound Stage Studios and The Wax Works in Nashville, Tennessee; and at Pinebrook Recording Studio in Alexandria, Indiana; with Gary S. Paxton producing and arranging. Strings and horns arranged and conducted by Buddy Skipper, John Darnall, and Don Tweedy. Strings arranged by Tweedy and Skipper. Background vocals provided by The Gary S. Paxton Singers. Ten of eleven songs written or co-written by Gary S. Paxton, with track B5 written by Sammy Hall.
