Gentle Touch

Description

Gentle Touch is the solo debut album by the American singer and songwriter Gerry Limpic of Limpic & Rayburn and The Random Sample fame, released on Myrrh Records in 1979, a division of Word. The album was recorded and mixed February-April 1979 by Ron Compton at Fanfare Studios in El Cajon, California; and was produced by Gerry Limpic with Compton co-producing.

Gentle Touch contains mostly smooth ultra-easy ballads, with an occasional lightweight quasi-rocker tossed in. There are a couple extractable numbers that you could conceivably stick on the end of a cassette. Otherwise, best to stick with the excellent Limpic & Rayburn debut. Includes appearances by Jamie Owens-Collins and Tom Howard. [Ken Scott, The Archivist, 4th Edition]
