Song Bird is the sophomore studio album by the American R&B singer and songwriter Deniece Williams, released on Columbia Records in October 1977. The album was recorded by Warren Dewey and George Massenburg at Wally Heider Studios in San Francisco, at The Burbank Studios in Burbank, and as well at Sunset Sound and Hollywood Sound in Hollywood, California; and was produced by Maurice White with Jerry Peters co-producing. The album rose to No. 23 on the US Billboard Top Soul Albums chart and No. 5 on the UK Blues & Soul Top British Soul Albums chart.
