Essence

Description

Essence is the third album by the American pop group Danny Lee & The Children of Truth, released on Impact Records in 1974, a division of Benson. As well released on Key Records in the UK the following year.

After two albums on the mainstream RCA label, Lee & the Children of Truth are signed to a Christian label. Less orchestrated and slightly more rock oriented, the back cover photo shows the band adopting a more counter-cultural image than that on the front cover of the previous release.
