Side One

Bill Barron – Beyond All Time
Bill Barron is a congenial, easy-going, reserved dynamo. He is pleasant and courteous in conversation. Then he stands up to sing and he is excitement itself. Beneath that quiet exterior there is a deep reservoir of talent and dedication. Listen as he sings this great song of Ralph Carmichael.

Imperials – A New World
This group of young men are the acknowledged leaders in their field of music and rightly so. Smooth harmony, rich blends, unusual arrangements and precision singing make their albums a study in listening pleasure. From Nashville they travel over the U.S. and Canada. This fine arrangement of Ronn Huff’s song is an example of their talents.

Gene Braun – Jesus Is His Name
Gene is a talented young song evangelist whose home is in Ohio. This song is from his first Impact album. When his record was played over the New England Songtime Network it became the most requested album ever played on the program. He has a relaxed way of getting the truth of a song across to his listeners

Fred Bock – I’m Free
From this bright young California composer, arranger, conductor and keyboard artist comes this organ interpretation of one of Bill Gaither’s songs. It is so beautifully arranged and performed that it has a deep spiritual import. Taken from an album of ten of Mr. Gaither’s best known songs it is a unique blending of the creative-spiritual talents of two dedicated young men.

Ed Lyman – Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow
Here is a young man who knows all the traditional sacred songs and he sings them very well and he also deeply involved in an attempt to relate, to be relevant to a whole new generation of intense, concerned people who will make up tomorrow. Listen as he shares his faith in a contemporary gospel song.

Reba Rambo – Reality
Reba is about as talented as one young lady could or should be. As a member of the Singing Rambos she and her mother and dad regularly travel in gospel meetings and concerts. But her talents far exceed just being a member of the trio. As soloist and songwriter she is already making a name for herself. Her talent as a young singer is ably demonstrated on this song.

Sherman Andrus – I’ve Got Confidence
Sherman’s very special voice, his ability to musically express great excitement and deep emotion combine with his deep spiritual humility to produce young man with a musical message that crosses all barriers. He has a great heart and it’s this spiritual dimension which comes through. Here is a song that was written especially for him.

Gene Cotton – Get Together
At the forefront of the young sound movement Gene is in constant demand in high schools, youth conventions and churches across the country. Working closely with such groups as Campus Crusade he speaks and sings the language of today’s youth. This song shows his ability to communicate the timeless gospel in the “now” style.

Side Two

Steve Musto – On His Hands
This popular young singer travels as a member of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. This ministry takes him in virtually every part of the country and world and everywhere he thrills audiences and congregations with his talents. This song from his first Impact album is an example of his dedicated talent. Listen as he sings to you.

Steve Shakarina – He’s Everything To Me
Steve is the young son of Demos Shakarian, founder of the Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship, but he is well-known in his own right as a tremendously talented trumpet player. This popular song from his album is just a sample of the fine backgrounds and arrangements given to Steve’s trumpet artistry. If you like instrumentals you’ll love Steve.

Doug Oldham – A Rich Man Am I
This man is a singer second and a communicator first. He has a deep sense of what people need and feel and his concerts and services are earmarked by the warmth they seem to generate. Doug is at home and moves almost effortlessly from song to song until a mood is set. Nobody really knew that Doug was going to whistle on this song – he just started in and as usual it was the thing to do. Listen and feel Dough Oldham sing.

Diane Susek – Have A Little Talk With The Lord
Here is a song by a lovely young lady whose voice and spirit are bright as the morning sun. As featured vocalist in crusades with her minister husband, Ronn, she uses these talents to move and inspire people. There is happiness and winsomeness about her singing. Winner of the National Evangelical Film Foundation Award “Female Singer Of The Year” Diane has a wide future ahead of her.

The Bill Gaither Trio – He Touched Me
The Gaithers, Bill, Gloria, and brother Dan have their own way of singing – easy and relaxed. Their concerts are a delight to attend and their music in a services always sets a mood and atmosphere that touches the congregation. Here is their rendition of the great song which Bill himself wrote and it is proof enough that the Gaither Trio can inspire their listeners.

Albie Pearson – A Better Life
Albie is a dynamic individual whose fantastic drive and energy carried him to the top rung of international sports. Along the way, however, Albie had an encounter with Jesus Christ and as a “new creature” he sings in a warmly personal manner. Enjoy this title song from his album.

Jimmy Owens Impact – Real Love
One of the most exciting new trends in sacred music is the young sound – the songs the folk and witnessing groups are using in churches and school assemblies all across the country. One of the leaders in this movement is talented arranger-writer Jimmy Owens. Here is a song from an album that sparkles with the now sound.

Hale and Wilder – Now Sing We Joyfully Unto God
These two young men, Robert Hale and Dean Wilder, are the most exciting singers of the gospel in the country today. Both are highly trained opera singers and they blend their rich voices to lift sacred and gospel songs to new levels of inspiration and enjoyment. Combining their professional lives with sacred concert tours they are thrilling audiences everywhere with their talent and consecration.
