Description
Letting the People Know (also known as Never Look Back) is the debut album by the New Zealand singer and songwriter Stephen Bell-Booth, released on Mushroom Records in 1983, distributed by Festival Records (NZ) Ltd. The album was recorded and mixed by Graeme Myhre at Mandrill Studios in Auckland, New Zealand; with Stephen Bell-Booth producing. All songs written or co-written by Stephen Bell-Booth.
Featuring Stephen Bell-Booth on lead vocals as well as grand piano, electric piano, synthesizer, and xylophone, backed by a session band featuring Andrew Hagen on synthesizer, xylophone, and percussion (and providing all synthesizer programming); Neil Hannan on bass; and Steve Garden on drums and percussion. Also featuring Jacqui Fitzgerald on vocals.
