Description
I Know That I Know is the fifth album by the American singer and songwriter Stephanie Boosahda, released on NewPax Records in 1981, distributed by The Benson Company. The album was produced by Jonathan David Brown with Wayne Boosahda.
After three years of bankrupt record companies, label politics and broken dreams, Stephanie Boosahda is free to be herself, the way the Lord made her. Past fans who followed her “700 Club” career are in for a big, and hopefully delightful, surprise. She has finally busted out of oh-so-sweet-and-passive-princess MOR into expressive, very upbeat pop that boogies.
Each one of these 10, well-produced cuts allow this singer-songwriter an opportunity to demonstrate her vocal virtuosity. Produced by wiz-kid Jonathan David Brown with the help of Stephanie’s husband, Wayne, the album features an impressive lineup of backup musicians and vocalists including Hadley Hockensmith, Alex Acuna, Alex MacDougall, Harlan Rogers, Steve Archer, Denny and Tim Correll, Sheri Huffman, Diane Tidwell and quite a few others. Stephanie’s vocal agility, wide range and almost passionate vocals compare favorably with Streisand releases of a few years past.
