Description
A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Hell is an album by the American singer and songwriter Sammy Hall, released on NewPax Records in 1976, distributed by Word. (Released twice, featuring different cover artwork.) The album was recorded by Warren Peterson at Sound Stage Studios in Nashville, Tennessee; and at Pinebrook Recording Studio in Alexandria, Indiana; with Gary S. Paxton and Bob MacKenzie producing and arranging. Mixed by Peterson and Paxton at Sound Stage Studios. Strings and horns arranged and conducted by Buddy Skipper. Seven of eleven songs written by Gary S. Paxton.
