Off the Beaten Path is an album by the American singer and songwriter Pete Carlson, released on Chrism in 1979, a division of Tempo Records. The album was recorded by Brown Bannister, Gary Duggan, Gene Rice, and Mike Poston at Benson Sound Studio in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; at Gold Mine Studio East in Brentwood, Tennessee; and by Christopher Banninger at Martinsound in Alhambra, California; with John Darnall producing and arranging. Mixed by Warren Peterson at Sound Stage Studios in Nashville, Tennessee. All songs written or co-written by Pete Carlson.

OFF THE BEATEN PATH – PETE CARLSON – Chrism R 7812 (Tempo)
