Description
Restless Heart is the solo debut album by the British singer and songwriter Paul Field, the male voice and main songwriter of the British ’70s trio Nutshell, released on Myrrh Records in 1982, a division of Word. The album was recorded and mixed January 1982 by Anthony David at Riverside Studios in Chiswick, England; with Paul Field and Dave Cooke of Dave & Judy fame producing for Friday Productions. All songs co-written by Paul Field and Dave Cooke except “The Storm is Over” and “You’re the One” written by Field.
Featuring “Has to be You, Has to be Me”, a song covered by Cliff Richard on his album Now You See Me…Now You Don’t released the same year (an album that also included “Thief In The Night”, a song Paul Field wrote and recorded with his band Nutshell in the late ’70s). Paul Field is considered one of the pioneers of British contemporary Christian music, and Restless Heart is easily one of the best pop/rock albums of its era.
