Composed of slow, orchestrated melodies and simpler lyrics, these three albums carry the listener upward.
.
Another simple praise album without a big name banner atop its cover is ‘Father Lift Me Up’. Produced by Kurt Kaiser, the seven artists on this LP are listed individually by name on the back of the cover. Five cuts were composed by Kurt Kaiser, including «The Lord Is My Strength and My Song», «Grow In Grace» and «If Any Man Thirst».
.
Beautifully orchestrated and produced, ‘Father Lift Me Up’, ‘Thank You For the Music’ and ‘Teach Us Your Way’ make praise this side of heaven sound pretty good. [Carolyn Burns, CCM (What’s New), May 1981]
