Morning Sun is the sophomore studio album by the American pop/rock trio Harvest (Jerry Williams, Ed Kerr, and Paul Wilbur), released on Milk & Honey Records in 1981, a division of the Zondervan Corporation, distributed by The Benson Company. The album was recorded by Dave Burks, Dave Cline, Jon Yeaworth at Audio Village in Bloomington, Indiana; and at Gold Mine Studio in Brentwood and Lower Level Studio in Nashville, Tennessee; with John Darnall and Rick Powell producing. Mixed by Dave Cline. Arranged by Jerry Williams and Rick Powell. All songs written by Jerry Williams except track A2 written by Ed Kerr and track B4 written by Paul Wilbur.
Featuring Jerry Williams on acoustic guitar as well as lead and backing vocals with Ed Kerr on acoustic and electric (Fender Rhodes) piano as well as lead and backing vocals, backed by a session band consisting of Allan Mesko on acoustic piano, Paul Mills on Fender Chroma Synthesizer, Jerry McPherson on acoustic and electric guitars, Dan Smith on bass, and Terry Westbrook on drums.
