Things We Say and Do is an album by the American singer and songwriter Harry Robert Browning, independently released on Dolybeck Records in 1980. The album was recorded by Bert Bays, Jr. and Doyle Grisham at Domino Recording Studio in Grenada, Mississippi; and at Kings International Studio in Nashville, Tennessee; with Harry Robert Browning producing. Mixed by Gary Laney and Harry Robert Browning at Jack Clement Recording Studios in Nashville. All songs written by Harry Robert Browning.

Featuring Chuck Dodson on piano; Harry Robert Browning on guitar and banjo; Mike Noble on guitar (track A2); Doyle Grisham on pedal steel and dobro; Roby Duke on bass (and as well guitar on tracks A4, B1, and B5); Gene Crisman and Richie Simpson on drums and percussion; with Terry McMillan on harmonica and percussion. Harmony vocals provided by Laury Boone and Roby Duke.

Harry Robert Browning’s new album has an easy hill country sound speckled with rockabilly and bluegrass and will no doubt please a wide variety of listeners in this day of country music resurgence. A custom LP recorded in Grenada, Miss. and Nashville, Tenn., this is no city makeshift sound. Harry’s banjo and guitar licks are accompanied by a number of solid players, including wife Laury Boone as backup vocalist. [CCM (What’s New), January 1981]
