How Can It Be is the debut album by the American singer and songwriter Lauren Daigle, released on Centricity Music in April 2015. The album was produced by Paul Mabury with Jason Ingram co-producing four tracks. “Power To Redeem” features All Sons & Daughters.

In August 2016 the album was certified Gold by the RIAA. The album logged in more than five weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums chart, and premiered in the Top 30 on the Billboard 200. How Can It Be also reached No. 1 on the iTunes Christian Gospel Top Albums Chart with more than 397,800 album sales, 940,600 track sales and over 115 million streams, positioning Lauren Daigle as the fastest-selling new artist in Contemporary Christian music in the past decade. Daigle also became the first female artist in the history of CCM to earn two Gold singles from her debut album with the title track and “Trust In You” each selling more than 500,000 units. (Later, in December 2017, the single “First” was certified Gold as well.) In April 2018 the album was certified Platinum by RIAA (1 million units sold), as the first Christian music album from a female artist to obtain Platinum sales since 2001.

Louisiana’s Lauren has made it to national attention Stateside thanks to her superlative single «How Can It Be» and this moving song, written by Paul Mabury, Jason Ingram and Jeff Johnson, is definitely one of the best tracks to be heard on US Christian radio in the last few years. Not that this 12-song album is a one trick pony. «Power To Redeem» features the always wonderful All Sons & Daughters while Lauren’s rendition of David Crowder’s «Here’s My Heart» is as good as the original. Lauren has overcome bouts of serious illness and «My Revival» speaks of spiritual and physical victory. Paul Mabury’s production is impeccable, Lauren’s vocals are richly expressive, and all in all ‘How Can It Be’ is an inspiring full length debut from a singer who will surely be here for the long haul.
