Behind the Trap Door

Description

Behind the Trap Door is the second 12-inch vinyl EP the American singer, songwriter, and producer T-Bone Burnett, released on the British label Demon Records in 1984. The six track EP features collaborations with U2‘s Bono (track A3), Bob Neuwirth (track B2), and Richard Thompson (track B3). In the liner notes, Burnett states: “I was just starting to come out of a dark personal time, and was working these things out of my system. My original title was ‘Beneath The Trap Door’. That’s how it felt.”

Note: Rhino Handmade re-issued the EP on CD in March 2007, which also included the Trap Door EP as well as the Proof Through The Night LP. The double CD was issued in a numbered limited edition of 5,000.
